Kifaru Hunting Packs

Built for the country beyond the road

Kifaru Hunting Packs

A hunting pack has to carry the gear going in and handle a demanding load when the hunt comes together. JT helps hunters choose a Kifaru frame, bag, and fit for the hunt, body size, and hauling job.

Choose the pack around the hunt

Day-hunt efficiency

Carry water, layers, optics, food, and essentials without excess bulk while keeping a frame capable of hauling meat.

Backcountry capacity

Match bag volume to the number of days, shelter and sleep system, food, weather layers, and how compactly your gear packs.

Load-hauling fit

Frame height, belt size, torso fit, and correct adjustment matter more as the load gets heavier. Fit the system before the season.

For a day-hunt setup or a multi-day system, start with the gear volume and load-hauling requirement. Then choose frame and belt sizing and test the complete pack under realistic weight before the hunt.

What JT needs to know

  • Your height, torso length, waist or belt size, and past pack fit problems
  • Species, hunt length, terrain, and whether camp travels on your back
  • The optics, tripod, shelter, clothing, water, and other gear you carry
  • Whether the pack must haul meat, a hide, or other awkward loads
  • Your priorities for capacity, organization, weight, and access

Limited in-stock gear: Call JT at (970) 773-4898 to confirm current Kifaru packs, frames, sizes, pricing, and availability.

Build the rest of your system with our PEAX backcountry gear guidance, review the complete hunt gear lists, and choose a stable hunting bipod or tripod.
