This is an adventure the whole family will enjoy!

We offer custom horse rides and pack trips for families and small groups in the Bookcliffs Roadless area. This unique area is considered by many to be one of the wildest places left in the west.
Located at 9,000’ in the Bookcliff Roadless, these trips are a perfect summer get away. 
Depending on the ride you choose, these trips typically allow us to see bison, elk, mule deer, and wild horses. We also have options to camp and fish from small mountain streams as well as photograph some Indian petroglyphs in the area. 
We have a great team of horses and mules to escort you and your family through the mountain.

We can do one day rides where we are back to the truck that night or we can do custom 2-4 day trips where we explore the areas and see the different sights. On multiple day trips we can stay in a wall tent camp base camp relaxing, enjoying the area and fishing the streams. Option Two is to ride to a new place each day and  explore more country. This option we would take a comfy spike camp. (Cowboy Teepees)

We will customize the trip to what sights and activities interest you the most. 

One day-
6 hour rides $400 per person with a 2 person minimum, or $350 with 3 people.
You provide your own lunch.

Over night trips- This includes 2 half day rides and a night in our base camp. 4 hours going in to camp, spend one night at our well tent camp, dinner and breakfast over a fire ( if fires are allowed)
$1500 per person with 2 person minimum. 
$1000 per person with group of 3 or 4. kids under 18 only $500 with two adults
Each person will need a sleeping bag and pillow. We provide canvas bedrolls with 4″ gel foam padding to sleep on.

2 night 3 day trips This trip we have 2 options
option 1. We ride 4 hours into a wall tent camp and relax for a couple days. We can fish streams, go on small hikes, photograph wildlife. Morning of day 3 we wide to the trucks.

Option 2
This trip we set out and ride a big loop seeing new country each day and staying in canvas cowboy teepees and bedrolls. This is the best option to see lots of animals as well as see several native american petroglyphs. We cover all meals and lodging for this trip. You will want to bring a sleeping and small bag of clothes and toiletries.

$2,000 per person with 2 person minimum.
$1,500 per person with a group of 3-4.
$500 for kids under 18 if accompanied by 2 adults
