First and foremost we would like to thank you for taking the time to view our website and consider us for your upcoming elk hunts.
Elk hunting offers an experience like no other, being up front and personal with these magnificent creatures as they bugle and battle their way through breeding season is truly a one of a kind experience. You will quickly see we are very dedicated to the success of your hunt. We understand how long you have waited to draw your tag and how much this opportunity means to you. We don’t take any short cuts and treat every hunt as if it were our very own. We have carefully selected a group of guides that work hard to fully prepared before the season even starts. Hunt with us this season and you will see great hunting areas, hard work ethics, and first class western hospitality.
Our ranch is located in Mack Colorado, just a few miles off the Utah/Colorado state line. We are centrally located to some great units in both states. As a full time outfitter I have been fortunate enough to meet the guys who I feel are the best at hunting/guiding these areas and add them to our team of guides.
In Colorado we offer hunts on limited entry units 61 & unit 40. We also offer a unguided DIY OTC archery hunt where we provide meals, lodging and information about the area.
In Utah we offer hunts in the Bookcliff Bitter Creek & Bookcliffs Roadless, the La Sal Mountain, and the Central Mountain Manti units. Please click the links below to learn more about hunting in each area.

Please keep in mind these hunts take many years of planning to draw a tag. We can help you locate landowner vouchers or conservation tags that allow you to hunt these units every year.
We operate on Forest Service, BLM, and small private ranches giving us all the needed resources to make your hunt an exceptional one. All of our hunts are typically fully furnished and guided but we also have options if you would like to bring you own camp/camper. In most situations, we have a lot of terrain options and hunting techniques to accommodate hunters of almost any physical condition. Transportation during your hunt will vary from trucks, ATVs, and UTVs. Horse accessed hunting is also available upon request. (Bookcliff Little Creek Roadless area is strictly a horse hunt) A typical day of hunting will vary from you and your guide intensively glassing to locate elk. We will then use spot and stalk techniques or calling/bugling setups to get you in comfortable shooting distances. We also conduct some hunting from ground blinds over active wallows or water sources.
We advise clients to be prepared for 300-500 yard shots to read more about our rifle recommendations click on the following link to our new page about hunting rifles.
