Winter Cougar Gear
Temperatures can vary greatly on our winter hunts. Dressing in layers is recommended as temperatures can be cold when sitting still and even colder when riding snowmobiles and atv’s. However, when hiking you want to be able to get rid of layers to avoid sweating. Remember – cotton kills in the winter time. We recommend avoiding cotton clothing as it can be very unforgiving in cold/wet temperatures. Wool is a preferred choice along with many synthetic fabrics that are meant for extreme temperatures.
